I have been extremely lucky to teach gender and sexuality studies, literary studies, and composition at a variety of wonderful institutions, including Colby College, Queens College, CUNY, Marymount Manhattan College, Georgetown University, and the University of Southern Maine. Before entering academia, I was an English teacher and specialist in academic interventions for struggling students at a public high school in Brooklyn, New York.
